Not only is it a ‘hat-trick'( Diary Free, Gluten Free and Sugar Free ) but has the added bonus, packed with Protein. You simply can not go wrong!
Healthy Guilt Free “Protein Hot Chocolate” with those protein micronutrients CHIA & FLAXSEEDS.
1/2 Cup Dates – 8 Dates (you may add more for sweeter taste)
1 Litre Drinking Water
1 tbsp. Flaxseed meal (Substitute = Chia meal)
1 tbsp. Chia meal (Substitute = Flaxseed meal)
3 tbsp. Protein Powder (I use 100% Pea Protein)
1 1/2 tbsp. Unsweetened Cacao Powder
1/8 tsp. of Cinnamon
1 tbsp. any Nut meal
1 medium Saucepan| Blender | Cup
Hob Time: 6 minutes Preparation Time: 3 minutes
- Place all ingredients, starting with the Dates into the blender jug and pour water to completely covering all.
- Blend for approximately 1 -2 minutes until all Dates are liquified. Then transfer to Saucepan and place on hob, on low to medium heat for up to 6 minutes.
- Once the content starts to rise, it is ready. Take off the hob and pour into cups, and serve.
